   Wave Theatre

Wave Theatre is committed to nurturing and promoting new talent in the theatre, particularly from diverse backgrounds.

Workshops and outreach projects are also available from the company and its associate artists, who are experienced in working with participants in a range of settings, including community, health, youth, criminal justice and social work groups.







Wave Theatre focuses on bringing devised work, new writing and culturally diverese casts to audiences across the United Kingdom and beyond. Wave Theatre places an accent on the voice which speaks for both the settled and unsettled communities across the nation.

The Edinburgh Mela
The Edinburgh Mela Festival is a celebration of cultural diversity through the arts. Theatre, music, film, visual art and physical performance take place alongside a food and craft market. With South Asian roots, Mela means ‘Gathering’
in the ancient language of Sanskrit – an event where the arts combine with opportunities to sample food and crafts from many cultures.

Out of the Blue
Providing studio and production space for Edinburgh's cultural community,generating opportunities for everyone to participate in the arts by fostering innovative and accessible
creative projects. Located at the Drill Hall in Dalmeny Street in Leith , home to 73 artists/creative industries in 52 studios, a licensed café and a lively artistic community. From this base an exciting range of weekly classes, events, exhibitions and projects take place in and outside the building.

                               organisation founded in 2006 to promote, create and produce
                               movement and dance projects, including new choreographies, cross art,
                               video dance, site specific, professional and community work.
